Now, however, she was counting old banknotes with trembling hands and hurriedly stuffing the heavy packages away. 💵 She said her son had come to visit and that there would be a big family meal. But that very evening, Ovidiu learned that the woman’s son had passed away several years ago. 🕯️ The next morning, the woman returned and bought sixty kilograms of meat again. Then once more. She avoided any conversation, refused all help, and was always looking over her shoulder as if someone were following her. 🚪 The news spread quickly through the village. Some thought she was feeding stray dogs. Others said she was secretly selling the meat. But no one could explain why she was carrying the heavy packages to an abandoned warehouse at the edge of the dark forest. 🌲 On the fourth day, Ovidiu called the police. 📞 When the officers arrived, they found traces of blood on the concrete floor, torn plastic bags, and a heavy metal door locked securely from the inside. Lidia was there, pale, with stained hands and eyes full of fear. 👤 “Please,” she whispered softly. “Don’t go in.” That made everyone freeze even more. The police forced the door open. The smell was heavy, damp, almost unbearable. They took a few steps into the darkness, illuminated the interior… …and were left completely speechless.
