If traditional floss is difficult to use, ask a dentist about interdental brushes or other suitable cleaning tools.
3. Try a Warm Salt-Water Rinse
A mild salt-water rinse can temporarily soothe irritated gums.
Mix a small amount of salt into warm water, gently swish it around the mouth, and spit it out. Do not swallow the solution.
This may help make the mouth feel cleaner and more comfortable, but it does not remove hardened tartar or cure established periodontal disease.
