When Kelly met Eric for their first date, she didn’t expect the evening to take an unexpected turn. Everything seemed perfect, but sometimes less angelic intentions lurk behind the chivalry.
Thanks to her best friend Mia, Kelly was able to meet Eric. Mia, acting as matchmaker, had introduced him as “super nice .” Kelly was a little skeptical, but Eric’s photo finally convinced her to accept a date with him. They had agreed to dinner at an Italian restaurant with a stunning view. Kelly was a little nervous, but thought it would be a pleasant evening.
When she arrived at the restaurant, Kelly was immediately surprised. Eric was very well dressed, had a great haircut and a charming smile.
He immediately handed her a bouquet of roses. It was a very elaborate floral arrangement, and Kelly was touched by the gesture. But that wasn’t all, because Eric had also brought a gift: a silver keychain engraved with the letter K. Kelly was impressed by Eric’s efforts.
Throughout the evening, Eric was incredibly kind: he opened the door, pulled out her chair, and was very polite. He seemed interested in Kelly. At the end of dinner, he insisted on paying the bill.
Kelly wanted to pay her share, but Eric insisted, and she would have found it impolite to refuse. “A man pays on the first date,” Eric explained, as if it were obvious. So Kelly agreed, without suspecting for a moment the consequences this decision might have.
The next morning, Kelly woke up thinking Eric might have sent her a sweet message, saying he’d had a good time. But instead, she found a message with an attachment. It was a bill!
