7. Persistent Fatigue
Feeling tired after a busy day is normal, but extreme fatigue that doesn’t improve with rest may be a warning sign of certain cancers, including leukemia and colon cancer. If you experience ongoing exhaustion without a clear reason, it’s important to speak with your doctor.
8. Unexplained Weight Loss
Losing weight without changing your diet or exercise routine can sometimes indicate an underlying health problem, including cancer. An unexplained loss of 10 pounds (4.5 kg) or more should be discussed with a healthcare provider.
9. Persistent Pain
Pain that lasts for weeks or months without an obvious cause should never be ignored. Persistent headaches, back pain, bone pain, or abdominal pain can occasionally be associated with certain types of cancer and deserve medical evaluation.
10. Difficulty Swallowing
Trouble swallowing that continues or worsens over time may be linked to cancers of the throat, esophagus, or stomach. If eating or drinking becomes increasingly difficult, consult a healthcare professional promptly.
