Step 2: Add the plant ingredients
Add the cloves, ginger, rosemary, and cinnamon stick to the hot water.
Step 3: Simmer gently
Let the ingredients simmer for approximately five minutes.
Step 4: Allow the mixture to steep
Turn off the heat, cover the saucepan, and allow the infusion to steep for another 10 minutes.
Step 5: Strain carefully
Strain the liquid through a clean, fine-mesh strainer to remove all solid plant material. Let it cool completely before use.
Step 6: Store safely
Because this infusion contains water and no validated preservative system, it can support microbial growth. Ideally, prepare only what you need for one use and discard any leftovers. Do not assume that leaving the mixture for 24–48 hours makes it safer or more effective.
Avoid storing the infusion in a shampoo bottle for repeated use.
