It’s about courageously making a change.
And perhaps most importantly, it’s about finding a way for that change to benefit another person.
The Lesson of 25 Years
Twenty-five years is a long time.
It’s long enough for a child to become an adult.
Long enough for careers to change.
Long enough for families to grow.
Long enough for an entire generation to experience a different world.
Rosa spent that time growing something patiently.
Then she decided that the best way to honor those years was not necessarily to keep the hair forever.
It was to let it go with purpose.
Sometimes We Don’t Know What We’re Capable of Until We Let Go
There is comfort in familiarity.
Rosa knew how to manage her long hair.
She knew how to braid it.
She knew how to keep it under control.
She knew how people reacted to it.
It was part of her.
