The latter can make an already stressful situation considerably worse.
If you disagree with a procedure, you can seek appropriate channels for addressing the concern without turning the screening checkpoint into an argument.
## Don’t Let the Four Letters Ruin Your Trip
It’s easy to spend an entire travel day worrying about those four letters.
You might imagine missing your flight.
You might imagine being interrogated for hours.
You might wonder whether something terrible has happened.
In reality, the experience may be much more routine than you expect.
You arrive.
You go through additional screening.
Your belongings are checked.
You answer questions if asked.
You continue to your gate.
Then you board your plane.
The anticipation can sometimes be more stressful than the actual process.
