If Your Partner Always Prefers It From Behind – Here’s What His Choice May Really Mean

Real relationships are more complicated than that.

19. What Matters More Than His Favorite Position

Instead of analyzing one sexual preference, look at the overall relationship.

Does he listen when you express discomfort?

Does he care about your pleasure?

Does he respect your boundaries?

Does he communicate openly?

Does he show affection outside sex?

Does he make you feel safe?

Does he respond positively when you suggest something different?

These behaviors tell you much more about his character than his favorite position.

A partner’s willingness to listen is far more meaningful than whether he prefers one position over another.

20. Preference Is Fine. Pressure Is Not.

This distinction cannot be overstated.

It is completely normal for someone to have a favorite sexual position.

It is not acceptable for someone to pressure their partner into doing something they don’t want.

A healthy sexual relationship includes:

Mutual consent

Respect

Communication

Comfort

Freedom to say no
